Story guidelines
Write from your own experience. You may share what happened, what helped you prepare, what surprised you, or what you wish you had known.
Protect privacy. Do not include medical-record numbers, full dates of birth, addresses, phone numbers, insurance information, Social Security numbers, or another person’s private health information.
Keep medical decisions with the care team. Stories should not tell another person to start, stop, or change medications or treatment.
Submissions are reviewed before publication. KidneyTransplantRN may edit for privacy, clarity, length, and safety and may decline a submission.
